“Progress is man’s ability to complicate simplicity.” Thor Heyerdahl
Adjusted work schedules, extra family, travel, Black Friday, Cyber Monday….wishing for a recovery day. Big holidays, with extended holiday weekends that may include extra family and friends, or travel are a great opportunity. They can also be a challenge as we try to get back to some kind of “normal” schedule, knowing full well that the holiday season has begun and now thru New Year’s will be anything but normal. The best answer, have a plan. Not just a holiday plan, but your overall goals and plan, the defining of what is important you and when.
Financial planning, establishing goals and needs and then matching them to a plan or itinerary, pays huge dividends toward their success. The same holds true with the other areas of your life as well. Yes, we must make adaptations as we progress along, that is to be expected. It is the overall plan however which helps to provide the guidelines by which we can more easily and with less stress make those adjustments – and over the holidays those adjustments always come.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, successful shopping (if you chose to do so,) and that your Holiday season is filled with Joy and plenty of opportunity.
