Jay is passionate about helping clients build investment strategies, utilize innovative alternative investing, and create group retirement plan solutions. He was recognized by previous broker dealer Cetera in 2016 as Top 4 new advisors for AUM and holds several investment registrations 7, 65, 63, and 6.
Jay was born in Portland, OR and was the “new tall kid” at many different schools. His father's job with colleges moved them to 6 states growing up. By the time Jay graduated from Fayetteville HS in Arkansas he had traveled to 48 states. Jay played basketball at Oral Roberts University under Hall of Fame coach Bill Self and graduated with a marketing degree. He played professional basketball in Europe / China / NBA summer league for 5 years. His travels have taken him to over 40 countries on 6 continents.
Before he became a financial advisor Jay was a pastor at four churches and earned his Master's degree in Theology. He was the lead campus pastor who started Life.Church Owasso and Life.Church Jenks. He is married to Lindsay Henderson and have two boys Brady and Beau. If Jay and Lindsay are not watching their kids play sports, they are cheering for Oklahoma State Cowboys football, ORU basketball, and the OKC Thunder.
